This quiz set covers 25 essential words from the topic of "At Home" in Latin American Spanish. You'll learn the names of different types of dwellings (la casa, el apartamento), the rooms inside them (la cocina, el dormitorio, el baño), key pieces of furniture (la silla, la cama, el sofá), and the structural features that define a home (la puerta, la pared, la escalera). You'll also pick up two essential verbs: vivir (to live) and limpiar (to clean). These words come up constantly — whether you're describing your apartment, giving directions to a room, or simply chatting about everyday life at home.
The quizzes are organized into three thematic units, each with two short sessions of about five minutes. The first session (Drill A) eases you in with reading-based questions — Spanish to English and English to Spanish. The second session (Drill B) steps it up with listening clips, spelling from audio, and fill-in-the-blank sentences. Starting from the second unit, earlier words circle back in harder question types, so nothing slips away. After the three units, four cumulative reviews cover the full vocabulary one more time — reading first, then listening, then contextual sentences, then everything mixed together.
By the end, you'll be able to recognize every word on the page, identify it by ear, spell it from an audio clip, and slot it into a real sentence naturally. Your Spanish home vocabulary will be ready for genuine conversation.
