Question Verbs
Note that saber and conocer both translate as "to know," but are not interchangeable. Saber is used for facts and information, and when followed directly by an infinitive, it means "to know how to" do something, as in saber hablar (to know how to speak).
Did you know: entender is a stem-changing verb? The "e" shifts to "ie" in most present tense forms, making the correct first-person form entiendo, not "entendo." Repetir also changes, but differently: its "e" shifts to "i," giving repito.
