Rounding to the nearest hundred continues with 12 new whole numbers, some of them running into the tens of thousands.

Expect prompts such as 8,188 or 115,829, each one rounded to the closest hundred.

A neat thing to watch for is how rounding can change more than one digit at once. When a number is close to rolling over, bumping the hundreds place up can carry into the thousands, which catches people who only expect a single digit to move. Keeping an eye on that carry is the difference between a right answer and one that is off by a thousand.
