School Day

Note that tarea does not always mean homework. In everyday Spanish it means any task or chore, so tareas del hogar refers to household chores, not school assignments. Context tells you which meaning applies.

Worth knowing: while cafetería does refer to a school dining hall, in most Latin American countries the word more commonly describes a small coffee shop or casual eatery, closer to what English speakers would call a cafe.
