Books & Print

This quiz covers Italian vocabulary for reading and print media: books, poetry, and publications. Match each word to its English translation, fill in the missing word to complete a sentence, then translate full sentences from Italian to English.

Watch out for rivista: it looks like it should mean 'review,' but in everyday Italian it simply means magazine. And racconto vs romanzo comes down to one thing only: length. Both are fiction, but racconto is short by definition.
