Simplifying Fractions 5
This set has 10 fractions to simplify, and the numbers climb a bit with several eighteenths in the mix. You might be asked to reduce 6/18 or 14/18, and as always the plan is to divide the numerator and denominator by their shared factors until you can't go any further.
A neat thing to catch here is how a busy looking fraction can hide a really simple one inside it. Reduce 6/18 all the way and you land on a basic third. Once you start recognizing those patterns, the bigger denominators stop feeling intimidating. Recommended level: beginner to intermediate.
